Scaling Floorplans
Scaling the floor is a critical task as it establishes the point of reference that the system uses for locating devices on the map.
Select either Geo-locate the floor on the map, or Measure the floor as one of the options to scale the floorplan and click Next.

Geo-locate the floor on the map—The Geo-Locate Floor Plan page displays the newly created floorplan and the available targets on the floorplan and on the map. The floorplan is created with the default length and breadth. In case of geo-locate scaling method you get the option to place the target points on the floorplan as well as on the map. You can place the targets at the corners of the floorplan in order to reference them on the map. You can dynamically zoom in and zoom out the floorplan to get a detailed view of the floorplan while placing the targets.
Similarly, you can also place the corresponding targets on the map. To get a clear precession of the anchor points and place them at the exact position where you want, click the
icon available against First Target GPS Coordinates and Second Target GPS Coordinates respectively. You can also use the different modes, Satellite, Street, or 3D to view the targets on the floor and adjust them accordingly.Optionally, after placing the targets, click Reset Target Locations, to see the final placement of the targets on the map.
Optionally, if you know the exact latitude and longitude value, you can enter them on the respective fields and the targets are placed accordingly.The following animation shows the Geo-Locate process to scale a floor:

Measure the floor—The Measure Floor Plan page displays the newly created floorplan. Here, you can use the two target points to measure the distance between them. You can also change the distance between two targets on the floorplan by updating the value of the Distance Between Two Targets on Floor Plan field. Based on this value, the total length and breadth of the floor is converted.
