Classification

The Classification card displays the number of classified and non-classified clients associated with the AP. This classification is based on the attributes and tags dynamically assigned to the clients in the network.

The expanded Classification card displays the following information:

  • Tag—Displays how the various classified and non-classified clients associated with the AP are defined in the site. For example, the client tagged as corporate assets, gizmo, IoT, and so on.

  • Category—Displays the category of both classified and non-classified clients running on the site. For example, the client categorized as servers, switching modules, gadgets, communication devices, and so on.

  • Function—Displays the list of functions happening in various platforms for both classified and non-classified clients. For example, the client functions categorized to work on computers, video conferencing, checking access points, and so on.

  • Vendor—Displays the list of vendors of both classified and non-classified clients. For example, Aruba, HPE GreenLake, and so on.

  • Model/OS—Displays the list of models/os of both classified and non-classified clients running at the site. For example, models/os, Aruba AP, macOS, Windows, and so on.
