System

The System card provides an overview of the operational status of the AP at the hardware level.

Figure 1: Hardware Status of the AP

The following table lists the System card parameters.

Table 1: AP System Card Information

Parameter

Description

CPU

Indicates the general AP device CPU health.

The CPU health is calculated based on the following threshold conditions:

  • —Good health if the CPU utilization is less than or equal to 70%.

  • —Poor health if the CPU utilization is greater than 70%.

Memory

Indicates the general AP device memory health.

The memory health is calculated based on the following threshold conditions:

  • —Good health if the memory utilization is greater than 70% and less than or equal to 90%.

  • —Poor health if the memory utilization is greater than 90%.

Temperature

Indicates qualitative AP temperature status.

Power Negotiation

Indicates the negotiated PoE standard used by the AP.

Power Consumption

Displays the power currently drawn by the AP, in Watts.

This parameter is supported only for specific AP models with firmware version 8.4.x.x and above.

Figure 2: System Card Expanded View

The hardware card expanded view displays the following graphs:

  • CPU Utilization—This trend graph indicates the percentage of CPU utilization for the AP over last 3 hours.

  • Memory Utilization—This trend graph indicates the percentage of memory utilization for the AP over the last 3 hours.

  • Power Consumption—This trend graph indicates the power consumption of the AP in Watts over the last 3 hours.

Note: The power consumption graph is displayed only for specific AP models with firmware version 8.4.x.x and above.
Note:

In the expanded view of the System card , you can go back up to a time range of 30 days to view the metrics on CPU, memory utilization, and power consumption.
