Tunnels

The Tunnels card displays the status of the LAN and WAN overlay tunnels that are configured from the AP device to a branch gateway or VPNC. It also displays the encapsulation type, source, destination device details, high availability (if applicable), and uptime for the tunnels.

The following table lists the parameters in the Tunnels card expanded view.

Parameter	Description
Name	Displays the name of the tunnel along with the health status as one of the following: —Indicates that the tunnel is up. —Indicates that the tunnel is in survivability state. —Indicates that the tunnel is down.
Encapsulation	Displays the encapsulation of the overlay tunnel as one of the following types: IPsec GRE
Source IP Address	Displays the IP address of the source device.
Destination Device	Displays the name of the destination device. Click the device name to view the destination device dashboard.
Destination IP Address	Displays the IP address of the destination device.
High Availability	Indicates one of the following for the tunnel: Backup Primary (Active)
Uptime	Displays duration of time the tunnel has been active since it was last reset.

You can perform the following actions in the Tunnels card expanded view:

• To add High Availability and Uptime columns to the table, click Table Menu > Customize Columns. For more information, see Customizing List.

• To reset the size of a column in the list, click Table Menu > Reset Column Sizes.

• To export the table data in CSV format, click Table Menu > Export.

• To filter the tunnel details in the list, select the options under Status filters.

• To view the properties and usage parameters of a specific tunnel, click anywhere in the tunnel row. Refer Figure 4: Tunnel Details Page and Figure 5: Tunnel Graphs.

  Properties
  Destination Cluster	Displays the name of the destination cluster. Click the cluster name to view the gateway cluster dashboard.
  Last Change Reason	Reason for the last status change of the tunnel.
  Usage
  Transmitted Over the Last 3 Hours	Total tunnel usage for transmitting data over the period of time selected in the timeline. By default, the data is displayed for last 3 hours.
  Received Over the Last 3 Hours	Total tunnel usage for receiving data over the period of time selected in the timeline. By default, the data is displayed for last 3 hours.
  Throughput	This graph displays the inbound and outbound traffic rates for the selected tunnel. You can hover over the graph to view the transmitted and received data at a specific time.
  Packet Loss	This graph displays the percentage of data packets that is lost during transmission through the tunnel.
  Latency	This graph displays the time taken for data packets to reach from the source to the destination.
  Jitter	This graph displays the variation in time taken for data packets to reach the destination, indicating the inconsistency in packet arrival times.
  MOS Score	This graph displays the median score calculated as an average of the uplink health over time based on packet loss, latency, or jitter.
