Viewing Virtual Controller Dashboard

The Virtual Controller (VC) dashboard provides an overview of the Virtual Controller Properties, Site status, Network, and Alerts.

To navigate to the VC Dashboard, complete the following steps:

1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.

   Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

   The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

2. Click Network.

   The Unified Device List (UDL) view is displayed for the site.

3. Select the required filter options under Status and Type under the Devices header.

4. Click the Table Menu and select Customize Columns from the drop-down list. Then, select the Software Version checkbox and click Apply.

   The Software Version is displayed and the AP Type now shows as a hyperlink. Click the hyperlink.

   Note:

   Virtual Controller Dashboard is only applicable on AP 8.x firmware versions.

5. Click the Type hyperlink to open the Virtual Controller Dashboard.

6. Click the Network planet to see the Access Point Members List.

The Virtual Controller dashboard displays the following information:

• Properties

• Site
