Connectivity Performance

The Connectivity Performance card provides a quick summary of the selected gateway's overall performance. The Connectivity Performance card is available in default and expanded views.

You can click on Show All to take you to the Alerts page.

The following table describes the default Connectivity Performance card parameters:

Parameter	Description
Health status and reason	Indicates the health status and reason of health of the gateway. The health status of a gateway is as follows: —Displays the following details: Status—Online Health—Good —Displays the following details: Status—Online Health—Fair —Displays the following details: Status—Online Health—Poor Or Status—Offline Health—Poor The reason of health of a gateway is as follows: WAN Uplink Status Change WAN Uplink Speed Changed WAN Uplink Duplex Changed Gateway Interface Receive Rate Gateway Interface Transmit Rate When the above mentioned alerts are generated, then the corresponding health status of the gateway is displayed in the Gateway Dashboard page.
Usage	Cumulative data bytes transferred and received by the gateway over the current monitoring window.
Bandwidth Savings	Indicates the near instant total bandwidth saved (in percentage) through compression for the selected time interval.
Connected Clients	Displays the number of clients connected to the gateway.

To view additional details about the gateway connectivity performance, click the expand icon.

The expanded Connectivity Performance card displays the uplink rate, compression, and throughput graphs of the gateway over the monitoring window. It shows the throughput graph for specific gateway interfaces. You can select the gateway interface from the Interface drop-down list.

The following table describes the expanded Connectivity Performance card parameters:

Parameter	Description
Uplink Rate	Shows a graph of the transmitted and received data bytes by the gateway over the current monitoring window.
Compression	Shows a graph of the bandwidth saved and bandwidth used by the gateway over the current monitoring window.
Interfaces	Lists the interfaces on the gateway. By default, All interfaces is set.
Throughput	Shows a graph of the transmitted and received throughput on the selected interface of the gateway over the current monitoring window.
Frames	Shows line charts based on the ratio of categorized-frames-to-total on the number of frames for the selected interface over time. The chart categories are: Errors Broadcast + Multicast You can click on the Show Frames Details to see charts based on the error type (CRC/FCS, Collisions, Runts, or Giants) as well as separate charts for broadcast and multicast frames. Note: Runts and Giants data can be received from the gateway telemetry only from the 10.6 or later firmware version.
