Properties

The Properties card lists the key attributes of the gateway such as Model, Manufacturer, MAC Address, Serial Number, IP Address, Deployment Mode, and Firmware Version.

To view additional details about the gateway such as Public IP address and Part Number, click the expand icon.

The following table describes the Properties card parameters:

Parameter

Description

Model

Hardware model of the gateway.

Manufacturer

Name of the gateway manufacturer.

Part Number

Unique device product identification number of the gateway.

MAC Address

Primary MAC address of the gateway.

Serial Number

Serial number of the gateway.

Last IP Address

Administrative IP address of the gateway.

Note:

Latest IP Address is not displayed for the gateway that is offline for more than a day. For such a gateway, the properties card displays the Last IP Address configured on the gateway.

Last Public IP Address

Public IP address of the gateway.

Note:

Latest IP Address is not displayed for the gateway that is offline for more than a day. For such a gateway, the properties card displays the Last IP Address configured on the gateway.

Deployment Mode

Deployment modes of the switch (Standalone, Cluster, or Stack).

Cluster Name Displays the name of the cluster that the gateway is a part of. You can click on the Cluster Name to view additional cluster details on the Cluster Summary page.

Firmware Version

Version number of the firmware currently running on the gateway.

Role

Role can be Leader, Member, or Isolated leader. This field is not applicable for SDWAN deployments.

Notes

Important information related to the gateway device is displayed. Note history is available based on the time travel.

Click on the edit (pencil) icon next to the Notes field to enter note information as a free-form text.

Click Save. Maximum of 256 characters are allowed.

Similarly, you can also edit the note information or delete the note for a gateway.

You can also add, edit, or delete the note information on the gateway context by clicking the icon.
