Health Status Indicators

The health is determined by the health of the number of devices and clients experience for a site. The calculations and threshold values for health status are explained in this topic.

Calculations are explained for the following:

Site

The health of a site is calculated based on the weightage of device health (50%) and client experience (50%). The health status for a site is displayed on the Sites list, Site Health column on the Sites window, site dashboard, and the Health card. The following table describes how the health status is derived for a site.

Note:
  • If a site does not contain any clients, then the health is calculated based only on device health weightage (100%).

  • Site health calculation does not consider offline clients and clients with undetermined experience.

Poor

Red

50% * (number of devices with poor health / total number of devices) + 50% * (number of clients with poor experience / total number of clients)

Fair

Amber

50% * (number of devices with fair health / total number of devices) + 50% * (number of clients with fair experience / total number of clients)

Good

Green

100 - poor - fair

Where, floor of the calculated value is taken for poor and fair values.

Network

The standard threshold percentages that determine the health status of the devices is displayed in Network on the site dashboard. Health status and threshold percentages is described in the following table.

Threshold Percentage

Determination

Poor

10%

Health is indicated as Poor if a minimum of 10% of the total devices in that site have poor health.

Fair

40%

Health is indicated as Fair if a minimum of 40% of the total devices in that site have fair health.

Good

100%

Health is indicated as Good when less than 10% of total devices in site have poor health and less than 40% of total devices in site have fair health.
