Monitoring Health

Network Health is a critical measure of the quality and durability for user experience on a network. Based on the health status, you can investigate potential issues and take corrective actions. The dynamic indicators flag the sites that are not in an expected operational state. This data helps a network administrator be proactive to avoid or mitigate problems, disruptions, or downtime.

The Sites card on the Network Overview page displays the top 10 sites listed in the order of poor health at the top of the list. If there are more than 10 sites, the remaining number of sites is displayed at the bottom of the list. To view all sites and their details, click the Expand icon. The expanded view of the Sites card displays the health status along with other information such as connected devices, clients, location, and alerts for all sites.

Before you Begin

Ensure to create the sites and assign devices. For more information, see Site.

Note:

If the device is not assigned to the site, then health status is not applicable, and it is denoted in gray color.
