Navigating and Searching a Site

To navigate to the Network Overview page and select a site, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.

    The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

  2. Alternatively, you can click the Navigate icon to search for a site from the list.

    The Sites table is displayed on the global Network Monitoring page. The value displayed under the Search box is the total number of sites present in the network. By default, the Site Name, Site Health, Device Health, Client Health (Approx. Count), and Location columns are present.

    The following columns are present in the Sites window:

    • Site Name—Name of the site. It is listed in the order of site with poor health at the top of the list. Click Name to sort the list in ascending or descending order.

    • Site Health—Health status bar of the site. It is listed in the order of site with poor health at the top of the list. Click Health to sort the list in poor first or good first order.

    • Device Health—Number of devices present in the site along with their health status bar. Hover over the bar to view the specific number of devices for each status. Click Devices to sort the list in poor first or good first order. Click the number corresponding to the required site to navigate to the devices list page.

    • Client Health (Approx. Count)—Number of clients present in the site along with their health status bar.

      The following utilities are available:

      • Hover over the bar to view the specific number of clients for each status.

      • Click the column name Client Health to sort the list in poor first or good first order.

      • Click a number on the Client Health column to navigate to the corresponding site dashboard and view all the clients in a list view.

    • Location—Address and time zone of the site is displayed.

    Note:

    You can add, remove, or set your preferred order for the columns on the Sites table. For more information, see Customizing the Sites Table.

  3. Type the name of the site in the Search box.

    The site names matching the specified keyword is displayed. The value displayed under the Search box signifies the number of sites that match the search criteria.

  4. Click the required site name to navigate to the site dashboard.

    The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information.

  5. Alternatively, to view the site information at a glance, click the row between columns to view the corresponding site summary card. For more information, see Viewing the Site Summary Card.

  6. Click Go to Site to navigate to the site dashboard.

    The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information.
