Properties

The Properties card lists key attributes of a switch such as Model, Manufacturer, MAC Address, Serial Number, IP Address, Deployment Mode, and Software Version. For a switch stack, the Properties card lists the key attributes of the conductor in the stack.

The following table lists the Properties card parameters.

Parameter	Description
Model	The switch hardware model.
Manufacturer	Name of the switch manufacturer.
MAC Address	Primary MAC address of the switch.
Serial Number	Serial number of the switch.
IP Address	Administrative IP address of the switch. The latest IP address is not displayed for the switches that are offline for more than a day. For such switches, the properties card displays the Last IP Address configured on the device. HPE Aruba Networking Central displays only IPv4 addresses.
Deployment Mode	Indicates one of the following deployment modes of the switch: Standalone Stack
Software Version	Firmware version currently running on the switch.

To view additional details of the switch, click the expand icon.

The expanded card view displays the following additional information:

• Public IP Address—Public IPv4 address of the switch. This field displays the IP address only when the switch is online.

• Part Number—Part number of the switch.

The expanded view also allows users to create or modify notes for the switch or a stack
