Tenants Card

The Tenants card displays a graphical representation of the number of tenant accounts manged by the MSP.

There are two types of tenant accounts, categorized based on device inventory ownership:

• MSP owned—The devices in the inventory are owned and managed by the MSP.

• Tenant owned—The devices are owned and managed directly by the customer.

Based on the types of tenant accounts managed by the MSP administrator account, there are two Tenants card designs. However, only one card is displayed at a time, depending on the scenario:

• Scenario 1—MSP administrator manages only tenants accounts where the MSP owns the device inventory.

  In this case, the Tenants card reflects information relevant to only MSP-owned device accounts.

• Scenario 2—MSP administrator manages both types of tenant accounts (tenant accounts where MSP owns the device inventory and tenants accounts where the tenant owns the device inventory).

  In this case, the Tenants card displays combined information for both types of accounts.

  Note:

  The device inventory can either be owned by the MSP account or tenant account.

Scenario 1

In this scenario, the MSP account owns the entire inventory. The Tenants card includes the following:

• Summary of the total tenant account managed by the MSP.

• A stacked column bar chart displays a month-to-month breakdown of data representing the ratio of Existing Tenants count vs Newly Added Tenants count. On hovering over the individual column bar, a tooltip displays the following information:

  • Month and year correspond to the selected column.

  • Count of newly added tenants and existing tenants count correspond to the month.

  • Total tenant count corresponds to the month.

Scenario 2

In this scenario, the inventory is owned by the MSP account and the tenant. The Tenants card includes the following:

• The donut charts display the ownership split between Tenants-Device owned by MSP and Tenants-Device owned by tenant. The center of the donut chart displays the total tenants count. On hovering over each data segment in the donut chart, displays the type of tenant for the selected segment along with the tenant count.

• A stacked column bar chart displays a month-to-month breakdown of data representing the ratio of Tenants-Device owned by MSP count vs Tenants-Device owned by tenant count. On hovering over the individual column bar, a tooltip displays the following information:

  • Month and year correspond to the selected column.

  • Count of Tenants-Device owned by MSP and Tenants-Device owned by tenant. Inside parentheses display the count of new tenants added for corresponding to the month and type of tenants (device owned by MSP and device owned by tenant).

  • Total tenant count.
