Transferring a Standard Enterprise Workspace to MSP Management

You can transfer a standard enterprise workspace that uses enhanced IAM to MSP management. Once the transfer is completed, the workspace becomes a tenant workspace (tenant-owned model) and can be accessed from the Tenants page in the MSP workspace. In this model, the tenant owns both the devices and subscriptions, but the MSP manages the tenant's network. After the Standard Enterprise Workspace is transferred to an MSP-managed account, all service data is retained in the newly created tenant account.

Note:

You can transfer a standard enterprise workspace to MSP management only if the Compute Ops Management service or the HPE Aruba Networking Central service is provisioned in the workspace and no other services are provisioned.

The transfer from a standard Enterprise Workspace to an MSP-managed workspace is successful only if the standalone workspace either has the service provisioned in the same region as the target workspace or does not have the service provisioned. For example, consider a standalone workspace that has only one service, HPE Aruba Networking Central, provisioned in the EU-1 cluster. If the target MSP-managed workspace has HPE Aruba Networking Central provisioned in the EU-2 cluster, the transfer fails because the service is provisioned in a different cluster than the target workspace.
