Report Categories and Format

HPE Aruba Networking Central MSP allows users to create reports for the following categories:

• Inventory Utilization

• Licenses

• Subscription Renewal Schedule

• Tenants

Inventory Utilization

The following KPI is listed under Inventory Utilization report type:

MSP Inventory Trends—Provides a report that highlights the count of inventory devices using licenses by month for 12 months.

MSP Inventory Trends

The MSP Inventory Trends contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Month	The month for which inventory utilization is queried.
Assigned Inventory	The total number of inventory items with a license assigned.
Available Inventory	The total number of of inventory items without a license assigned.

Licenses

The following KPIs are listed under Licenses report type:

• License Utilization Summary—Provides a report that highlights the licenses by status.

• Subscription Keys—Provides a report that highlights the subscription key information sorted by end date.

• Subscription Utilization Overview—Provides a report that highlights subscription utilization overview by subscription tier type. Tier types are classified based on advanced and foundation.

License Utilization Summary

The License Utilization Summary contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Total Licenses	The total count of licenses managed by the MSP account. The parameter cannot be deselected.
Not Expired and Used	The total number of active licenses that are assigned to devices. The parameter cannot be deselected.
Available	The total number of active licenses that are not assigned to any device. The parameter cannot be deselected.
Total Expired	The total number of licenses that are expired. The parameter cannot be deselected.
Expired and Assigned to a Device	The total number of expired licenses that are assigned to devices. The parameter cannot be deselected.
Expired and Not Assigned to a Device	The total number of expired licenses that are not assigned to devices. The parameter cannot be deselected.

Subscription Keys

The Subscription Keys contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Key	A unique alphanumeric code for each subscription key. The parameter cannot be deselected.
License Tier Type	Displays the type of license such as Foundation, Advanced, and Other.
Start Date	The date when the subscription key was added to the MSP account.
End Date	The date when the subscription key expires.
Quantity	The total number of licenses that are assigned to the subscription key.
Subscribed Tenant	The total number of tenants that are associated with the subscription key.
License Tier	Displays the type of license.
Status	Displays the status of the subscription key.

Subscription Utilization Overview

The Subscription Utilization Overview report is a donut chart that displays the number of Active, Expired, or Used subscriptions by subscription tier.

Parameter	Description
Status	Displays the status of the subscription key.
Advanced	Displays the total count of Expired, Active, and Used status of the advanced subscription tier.
Foundation	Displays the total count of Expired, Active, and Used status of the foundation subscription tier.

Subscription Renewal Schedule

The following KPI is listed under Subscription Renewal Schedule report type:

Subscription Renewal Schedule—Provides a report that highlights when subscriptions expire in the next 12 months.

Tenants

The report displays a status snapshot at the time of generation and is not cumulative for the selected time period.

The following KPIs are listed under Tenants report type:

• Tenant Growth Trend Summary—Provides a report that highlights the existing tenant accounts and newly added tenant accounts. It also provides information about the device ownership of the tenant account.

• Tenant Summary—Provides a report that lists tenant accounts, their device ownership type, alert information, and account creation date.

The following section describes the parameters available for each KPI.

Tenant Growth Trend Summary

The Tenant Growth Trend Summary contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Month	The Month parameter cannot be deselected. Displays the month information.
Total tenants	The Total tenants parameter cannot be deselected. Displays the total tenant accounts managed by the MSP account.
Tenant-owned	The Tenant-owned parameter cannot be deselected. Displays the total count of tenant accounts where the devices are owned by the tenant.
MSP-owned	The MSP-owned parameter cannot be deselected. Displays the total count of tenant accounts where the devices are owned by the MSP account.
Existing tenants	Displays the total count of existing tenant accounts, excluding those accounts that are added during the current month. The count includes the tenant accounts where devices are owned either by the tenant or by the MSP account.
Tenant-owned - Existing	Displays the total count of existing tenant accounts, excluding those accounts that are added during the current month, where the devices are owned by the tenant account.
MSP-owned - Existing	Displays the total count of existing tenant accounts, excluding those accounts that are added during the current month, where the devices are owned by the MSP account
Newly added tenants	Displays the total count of new tenant accounts added during the current month. The count includes tenant accounts where devices are owned either by the customer or by the account.
Tenant-owned - New	Displays the total count of new tenant accounts added during the current month where the devices are owned by the tenant.
MSP-owned - New	Displays the total count of new tenant accounts added during the current month where the devices are owned by the MSP account.

Tenant Summary

The report displays a status snapshot at the time of generation and is not cumulative for the selected time period.

The Tenant Summary contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Tenant Name	The Tenant Name parameter cannot be deselected. Displays the name of the tenant account.
Device Ownership	The Device Ownership parameter cannot be deselected. The Device Ownership displays information whether the devices are owned by the tenant or the MSP.
Total Devices	The total count of device assigned to the tenant account.
Unlicensed Devices	Displays the total count of devices that are unlicensed.
Total Sites	Displays the total number of sites associated with the tenant account.
Total Open Alerts	Displays the total count of open alerts associated with the tenant account.
Critical Alerts	Displays the total count of open critical alerts associated with the tenant account.
Major Alerts	Displays the total count of open major alerts associated with the tenant account.
Minor Alerts	Displays the total count of open minor alerts associated with the tenant account.
Created Date	Displays the date and time when the tenant account was created.

Report Format

Based on the KPIs and the format selected while creating a report, the data in the reports are available in the following views:

• List view—Displays the selected KPI in list format.

• Bar view—Displays the selected KPI in bar-chart format.

• Multi view—Displays the selected KPI in multiple formats.
