Configuring Overlay Wired Authentication

This topic describes how to connect a wired ethernet port to an access point.

Prerequisites

Ensure to create an authentication profile, an authorization policy, and a wired port profile. For more information, see the following topics:

• Create a Wired Port Profile. For more information, see Port Profile for APs.

  Note:

  • Select Tunnel as the Traffic Forwarding Mode.

  • Under Authentication, select Central NAC as the Server Group.

• Configure an AP interface for the port profile. For more information, see AP Interface Configuration Profile.

• Enable the Use for wired connection for the authentication profile. For more information, see Configuring Authentication Profiles.
