Connecting your Device to the Network
To connect to an enterprise network you must install network profiles in the HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app. The app downloads and configures the network profile on your device to connect to an enterprise wireless network.
To connect your device to the network, complete the following steps:

Access the on-boarding URL shared by the network administrator.

Click Yes, I have the HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app.

Click Sign in for Provisioning.

Sign in using the identity store configured by the network administrator.
To connect using your Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace or Okta Workforce Identity Cloud account, complete the following steps:

Enter the username.

Click Next.

Enter the password.
-
Click Sign in.

Click Install using HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app to install the network profile.
The HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app is displayed after installing the network profile.

On the desktop, click Open HPE Aruba Networking Onboard.

In the HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app, click Set up network profile.
The HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app onboards and installs the profile in your device in the following steps:

Connects to the server.

Downloads the network profile.
-
Configures the network profile.
After the app completes the onboarding workflow, a successful profile configuration message is displayed.

After onboarding is complete, the device is ready to connect to the configured network. The device must be in the vicinity of the configured network and should not be already connected to any other network.

Users already connected to a wireless network can manually switch to the newly configured network available in the Wi-Fi list. At times, this manual switching might not work on mobile devices. If in the corporate network the users must DELETE (normally "Forget this network") or they will possibly re-join that network in the future again.

On all OS, the SSID name is displayed in the Onboard Profile card and list of available wireless networks.
For Wired ONLY network (macOS, LinuxOS, Windows), organization name is displayed in the Onboard Profile card and list of available wireless networks.
For Dual networks (Wireless and Wired), the SSID name is displayed in the Onboard Profile card and list of available wireless networks.
