Configuring Air Pass Profile

To configure an Air Pass profile, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Central NAC Monitoring page and click the Configuration icon.

  2. Click Manage in the Air Pass card.

The two cards, Air Pass Profiles and Air Pass Providers are displayed.

  3. Click Manage in the Air Pass Profiles card.

The Air Pass Profiles page is displayed.

  4. Click Create Profile.

  5. In the Create Air Pass Profile side panel, configure the following parameters:

    • Name—Enter a name for the Air Pass profile.

    • Description—Enter a description for the Air Pass profile.

    • Provider—Select any or all of the Air Pass providers from the drop-down list.

      Note:

To configure OpenRoaming, select OpenRoaming (All). This will enable usage of all Identity providers supported by WBA.

    • Network—Select a network which is assigned to scope for Air Pass.

    • Site—Select one or more sites from the drop-down list. The drop-down displays all the available sites. To locate a specific site, you can use the search bar and type the name of the site.

      Note:
      • The list of sites depends on the selected provider and network.

      • If an OpenRoaming Provider and Air Pass MNO are both selected, only US sites are displayed.

    • Network Details

      • Customer Domain Name—Enter a domain name.

      • Venue Category—Select a specific category from the drop-down list.

      • Customer Contact Email—Enter an email ID. The Air Pass approval status is sent to this email ID. This is optional if OpenRoaming is selected.

  6. Click Create.

If more than 50 sites are selected with at least one MNO, a confirmation pop-up window appears stating that large number of sites are selected due to which a delay might occur.

  7. An additional Data Use Acknowledgment information is displayed for users with AT&T as their provider.

Select the I acknowledge and accept checkbox and click Save.

  8. Click Confirm.

The Air Pass Profile is created and is listed in the Air Pass Profiles page. An Air Pass approval request is sent to the MNO provider for review and approval.

    Note:

There is no approval CSV file for openroaming. The Site status will be approved by default.

  9. Click the Sites link.

The Sites pop-up window displays the Site and Site Approval Status columns.

The Site column lists the site name along with a drop-down arrow. When you click the drop-down arrow, a nested table displays the MNO Provider and Approval Status columns.

The Site Approval Status column shows the overall approval status of the site, which can be Approved, Partially Approved, Pending, or Denied.

    Note:

If you select OpenRoaming provider while creating an Air Pass profile, the approval status for OpenRoaming will always be N/A in the sites pop-up window.
