Configuring Wi-Fi Easy Connect

Wi-Fi Easy Connect uses Device Provisioning Protocol (DPP) which is a provisioning protocol certified by Wi-Fi Alliance. With Wi-Fi Easy Connect, Wi-Fi enabled devices can easily and securely be provisioned. Central NAC supports Wi-Fi Easy Connect (both UI and API support).

To configure Wi-Fi Easy Connect in Central NAC, perform the following steps:

1. Enable DPP in Radio Profile. For more information, see Creating a RF Profile.

   Note:

   Choose the DPP Provisioning option for 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands under the Advanced drop-down in the Create RF Profile panel.

2. Enable DPP in WLAN. For more information, see WLAN Profile.

   Note:

   In the WLAN profile, select Personal or Enterprise from the Security drop-down, and choose DPP from the Key Management drop-down or select the DPP check box under the Advanced drop-down.

3. Create a Wi-Fi Easy Connect policy. For more information, see Configuring Authorization Policy.

   Note:

   Select Wi-Fi Easy Connect as the Policy Type. This populates an identity store, Wi-Fi Easy Connect Registration Store.

   Under Wi-Fi Easy Connect Settings, select the network which needs to be configured for Wi-Fi Easy Connect policy.

4. Register the URI for devices that support Wi-Fi easy connect. For more information, see Registering an URI.
