Configuring Messaging Provider

Administrators can now configure a messaging provider and support guest SMS service through the Messaging card in the Central NAC configuration screen.

Note: This feature is not available to guest operators. For more information, see Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

Create SMS Provider

To configure a messaging provider, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the Menu icon.

  2. In the Central NAC card, click Manage.

    The NAC Monitoring page is displayed.

  3. Click the Configuration icon and in the Messaging card, click Manage.

  4. Click Create.

    The Create Twilio SMS Provider panel appears.

    Note:

    Twilio is the only messaging service provider supported at present.

  5. Configure the following parameters:

    • Name—Enter a name for the messaging service.

    • Description—This is optional.

    • Account SID—Enter your account SID.

    • Auth Token—Enter your authentication token.

      Note:

      Account SID and Auth Token are available in your Twilio console.

  6. Click Create.

    The messaging provider is created and is listed in the Messaging page.
