For a MAC Address Store, perform the following actions:
You can add MAC addresses in one of these two ways:
-
Select Import from CSV option from the Actions drop-down list. In the next window, select a CSV file and click Upload. After the file is uploaded successfully, a message, File Upload Completed is displayed and the records are listed in the MAC Address table.
Note:-
Ensure that the CSV file size does not exceed 5 MB. If the file size exceeds the limit, an error message appears.
-
If the CSV file has invalid MAC address records the MAC Address bulk upload fails with an error message with a link to the error report. Click Download Report to view the error report.
-
Only one bulk operation (export and import combined) is allowed at a time. If you try to start a bulk operation (export or import) during an ongoing operation (export or import), a message is displayed indicating the same.
-
Avoid importing MAC addresses with more than 10 static tags, as the import will fail and an error message will be displayed.
You can also download the CSV template. The template file provides a sample format of the MAC Address template file.
-
-
Click Add.
In the Create MAC Address pop-up, enter the MAC Address and Client Name. By default, the Status is enabled.
To add static tags, type a name in the Static Tags text box and click the Add
icon. Click Save. The details are updated in the MAC Registration table. -
To export a MAC address store, choose Export to CSV from the Actions drop-down. After the file is exported, a message, File Export Completed is displayed with a link to download the file. Click Download to save a copy of the CSV file. The MAC address CSV file lists the MAC Address, Client Name, Enabled, and Static Tags fields.
