Visitor Account Actions
This topic lists the actions that you can perform for a visitor account.

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the Menu
icon. -
In the Central NAC card, click Manage.
The NAC Monitoring page is displayed.

Click the Configuration
icon. -
Navigate to the Visitors card and click Manage.
The Visitors page appears which displays a list of visitor accounts.
The Visitors page lists the Username, Display Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Visitor Store, Status, and Networks as the default fields for a visitor account.

To search for a visitor account, type a keyword or phrase in the search bar.
The search bar dynamically filters the list according to the keywords you enter. The visitors list is automatically updated and filtered based on the Username, Display Name, and Email Address fields.

Click the Filters
icon.The Filters panel is displayed which lists all the visitor stores displayed in the visitors table. You can choose from the list and click Apply to narrow down the information.

You can sort the visitors list by the Username and Display Name fields. Hover over the Username or Display Name column and click the sorting icon.
The visitors list will be rearranged in an ascending or descending order based on the selected column.

To export a list of visitors, from the Actions drop-down, choose Export to CSV option.
The file export process begins and after the file is exported, a message, File Export Completed is displayed along with a link to download the file.

Click the Download link, to download the CSV file.

Navigate to the downloads folder and open the CSV file.
All the fields that are displayed in the Visitors page are exported to the CSV file.
Note:-
If you choose the Export to CSV option after applying a filter from the Filters panel or after searching for a specific field, the same data is exported to the CSV file.

The Expiration Date in the CSV file is displayed in UTC format as the time zone of the visitor account is not known. For example, 2025-04-25T10:14:48.230000+00:00.

The +1 prefixed in phone numbers will not be visible in the CSV file. This will be visible if you open the CSV file in a text editor.

You can perform the following actions for a Visitor Account:

Modify the status of a visitor account to Enabled or Disabled. Hover over the row in the visitor table, click the ellipsis
icon, and choose either Enable or Disable. The status is updated as per the selected option. -
If a visitor account is Expired, you will not be able to perform any actions. Click the ellipsis
icon and choose Edit. In the Edit Visitor Account panel, navigate to the Expiration Details and change the expiration date. You will now be able to Enable or Disable the visitor account. -
Hover over a row in the visitor table, click the ellipsis
icon, and choose Edit. The Edit Visitor Account panel appears. Modify the required parameters and click Save. -
Modify the password for a visitor account. In the Edit Visitor Account panel, click Reset Password. Select any one of the options, Random Password, or Random Passphrase, or Assigned Password and click Save.

Delete a visitor account. Hover over the specific visitor row and click the Delete
icon. In the pop-up window, click Delete. The visitor account is deleted from the table. Any active network sessions associated with the user will also be disconnected.
