Accessing Central NAC

To enable Central NAC, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the Menu icon.

  2. In the Central NAC card, click Manage.

    The NAC Monitoring page is displayed. For more information, see Monitoring Central NAC.

Configuration and Policy Evaluation for Classic Central and HPE Aruba Networking Central

Users can continue to use Cloud Authentication and Policy for their Classic Central groups and simultaneously use HPE Aruba Networking Central for Central NAC.

The following are some restrictions:

  • If you are using the same Microsoft Entra ID tenant for both Classic Central and HPE Aruba Networking Central, create a separate app registration for configuring the identity store.

  • Classic Central configuration cannot be migrated to HPE Aruba Networking Central. Configuration must be recreated in HPE Aruba Networking Central.

  • Clients are not migrated to HPE Aruba Networking Central. All clients, including MPSK users, must be reprovisioned after moving to HPE Aruba Networking Central.
