Getting Started with Central NAC

HPE Aruba Networking Central NAC is available to all customers using Classic Central (public cloud).

Ensure to provision your tenant in HPE Aruba Networking Central after which you will be able to configure Central NAC. Before you provision your tenant, see Prerequisite.

To configure Central NAC, create the identity store, WLAN profile, authentication profile, and configure the authorization policy.

Note:
  • Central NAC is not supported on New HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises.

  • Central NAC is supported on all Classic Central cloud platforms.

  • Central NAC supports IPv6 for Underlay and CX.

  • The HPE Aruba Networking Onboard application supports the Linux OS.

Supported Key Management Options

After configuring WLAN, the administrator can switch between the following Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) modes without user reprovisioning.

  • WPA2

  • WPA3-Enterprise (CCM 128) with Transition Enabled

  • WPA3-Enterprise (CCM 128) with Transition Disabled

These WPA modes are supported for the following operating systems and the HPE Aruba Networking Onboard app versions:

Note:

If there is a change in the network configuration, then the connected clients can experience network disruptions.
