Location Overview

The Location Overview page serves as a centralized map showing the location of all sites managed by HPE Aruba Networking Central. Use this view to get a visual representation of all sites with their health statuses. The health status of a site is determined by the percentage of devices and clients in the site with their status reported as Poor, Fair, Good, or Unknown.

To access the Location Menu, on the HPE Aruba Networking landing page, click the Location icon in the top-right corner.

Use the following elements of the map to interact with different sites:

• Site Marker—Click on a site marker to open the Site side panel listing the name, address, timezone, type, alerts and clients on the site. Click Go to Site on the side panel to open the floorplan dashboard for that site. For more information on floorplan dashboards, see Floorplan Dashboard.

• Cluster Marker—If the map is zoomed out, sites that are near each other may appear in a cluster marker marked by the number of sites in that cluster. Click on the cluster marker or zoom in on the map to view individual sites. Sites with the same address are displayed in a circular pattern around their shared location when the map is zoomed into their location. The size and position of a cluster marker depends on the size of the map rendered onscreen.

• Search bar—Use the search bar to filter through site names and find the specified site on the map.
