Creating Notification Rules
To create notification rules, complete the following steps:

On the Notification Rules page, click Create Rule.
The Create Notification Rule page is displayed. By default, the Notification Source is set to Alerts.
Note:You can create up to 20 notification rules. Once 20 rules are created, the Create Rule option is hidden on the Notification Rule page.

Expand the Select Alerts field and select the alerts to include in the notification rule.
Notification Rules supports alerts related to access points, gateways, bridges, and switches.
Note:An alert can be associated with multiple notification rules. However, when an alert is present, a notification is sent to all configured destinations only once.

Set the Minimum Alert Severity that must be met to generate notifications.
By default the Minimum Alert Severity is set to Minor.

Click Next.
The Notification Destination page is displayed.

In the Users section, select the required channel to notify users. You can select more than one channel. The supported channels are:

Webhooks—You must specify at least one webhook from the Webhooks drop-down list. You can select more than one webhook to receive notifications. To configure a webhook, see Configuring Webhooks.

Email—You must specify at least one email address to receive notifications. In the Email ID field, enter the email address and click the add icon. You can add more than one email address; however, only one email address can be added at a time. To remove an email address, click the cancel icon.

Click Next.
The Notification Rule page is displayed.

In Notification Rule page, configure the following:

Enable or Disable the notification using the check-box.

Enter a name for the notification rule.

Add a description for the notification rule. The description is an optional parameter.

Click Finish.
The notification rule is displayed in the table.
