ARP Table Test for APs
To perform Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) table test on an AP, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.
Alternatively, you can click the expand
icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.The site dashboard is displayed along with site health, device, and client information.

Click Network.
The Unified Device List (UDL) view is displayed for the site.

To access the troubleshooting page for an AP, complete one of the following steps:

From the Devices table in list view, click anywhere on the particular device row under the Access Points tab.
The selected AP panel is displayed on the left.

From the Devices table in list view, click on the particular device under the Access Points tab.
The selected AP context page is displayed.

Click the troubleshooting icon
.The Troubleshoot page is displayed for the AP, and the Tests tab is selected by default in the left panel.

Under Test, select the ARP Table radio button.
The Source field is automatically populated with the selected AP name.

Click Start Test.
The Results panel on the right displays the test output.
To view the test output in the Results panel, you can click the graphical result icon
for a visual representation or the CLI result icon
for CLI output.
The following image displays the ARP Table test page for an AP and displays the output in graphical format.

To view the table widget output, click the expand
icon.
The expanded table displays the following interaction options:

Search— Search for any given input across all columns on all rows and displays the entries which includes the searched key.

Filter Icon— Opens a device-based filter and displays the total number of entries present on a specific filter value.

The Results panel contains the following details:

Summary Icon—The following table describes the meaning of icons used in the test result.

Successfully completed—All requests passed successfully.
Failed—All requests failed.

Output Parameter—The parameters are displayed in the test result:

Source—The AP name.
-
IP address—The IP address of the device.
-
HW Type—The type of the device.
-
Flags—The flags for the device.
-
HW address—The MAC address of the device.
-
Mask—The network mask or the IP address range.
-
Device—The device used to send ARP requests and replies.
