Live Event Streaming for Clients
Stream live events from clients connected to an access point. The minimum firmware version required to stream events are:

Wired clients: IAP 8.5

Wireless clients: IAP 8.4

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.
Alternatively, you can click the expand
icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.The site dashboard is displayed along with site health, device, and client information.

To access the site-level troubleshooting page, click the troubleshooting icon
. -
To access the client-level troubleshooting page, using any of the following ways:

From the Clients table in list view, select a client to open the client context page.
The selected client context page is displayed. The troubleshooting
icon is displayed below the client name. -
From the Clients table in list view, click anywhere on the particular client row under a client tab.
The selected client context panel is displayed on the left that contains the troubleshooting
icon. -
From the Clients table in list view, hover on the particular client on which you want to perform the troubleshooting test.
The troubleshooting
icon is displayed.

Click the troubleshooting icon
.The Troubleshoot page is displayed for the client, and the Tests tab is selected by default in the left panel.

Open the Live Monitoring tab. Select Live Events.

Select Client Events.

If you used the site-level Troubleshoot page, enter the target client MAC address in the Client MAC Address field.
Note: The Client MAC Address field supports one entry. -
Click Start.
A live event stream is initiated and an event is logged in the Audit Trail. The live event stream ends automatically after 15 minutes. Concurrent live streams are supported but they have to be initiated individually. -
Click Stop to end the live stream before 15 minutes pass.
The end of the live stream is logged in the Audit Trail. -
When processing is complete, click Export to save the live stream to your local system as a CSV file.
Client Live Events
