Live Connectivity Performance

Live Connectivity Performance displays performance insights for AP radios operating in access mode by updating statistics, including noise floor, channel quality, and frame data.

Follow the below steps to access the Live Connectivity Performance feature:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.

    Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

    The site dashboard is displayed along with site health, device, and client information.

  2. Click Network.

    The Unified Device List (UDL) view is displayed for the site.

  3. To access the troubleshooting page for an AP, complete one of the following steps:

    • From the Devices table in list view, click anywhere on the particular device row under the Access Points tab.

      The selected AP panel is displayed on the left.

    • From the Devices table in list view, click on the particular device under the Access Points tab.

      The selected AP context page is displayed.

    • From the Devices table in list view, hover on the particular device under the Access Points tab.

  4. Click the troubleshooting icon .

    The Troubleshoot page is displayed for the client, and the Tests tab is selected by default in the left panel.

  5. Open the Live Monitoring tab.

  6. Select Live Connectivity Performance.

  7. Click Start.
    The live monitoring charts display data that is updated every 5 seconds for up to 15 minutes on supported firmware.

  8. If required, click Stop to end live monitoring before 15 minutes pass.
