Health Metrics—Security
The Security tab provides a visual overview of security-related health metrics and alert activity for the selected switch. This view helps the users monitor and analyze any potential security issues that may affect network stability or device performance.
Figure 1: Health Metrics—Security Tab for a Switch
On the Security tab, you can hover over the trend graphs to see the device health for the selected time range. It provides insights into the device performance metrics.
The Security tab is divided into two key sections:
-
Health Graph—This section displays the overall security health status of the switch. It helps identify if there are any deviations or abnormal activities in the switch’s security posture. The Y-axis represents the health score (in units), while the X-axis represents the timeline.
-
Alerts Graph- Displays a time-based graphical view of all security-related alerts generated by the switch. Each bar or point on the graph represents an alert occurrence at a specific time interval. The X-axis represents the time period, while the Y-axis indicates the number or intensity of alerts. If no alerts are triggered during the selected time range, the graph displays a No data message.
