Connectivity Performance

The card displays the overall connectivity performance of the client connected to the network.

Wireless Clients

For Wireless clients, the connectivity performance displays the following:

Click the expand icon to view details.

  • Throughput—By default, the upstream and downstream data throughput line chart is displayed for the client. You can hover over the chart to view the Transmitted and Received data within the set timelines.

  • Signal Quality—Displays the line graph to indicate the signal quality (good, poor, or fair) of the client.

  • Frames—Displays the ratio of retries-to-total of transmitted Wi-Fi frames of the client over time. You can hover over the chart to view the drops, retries, and errors.

  • Tx/Rx Rate—Displays the speed for the transmitted and received frames of the connected client.

  • Radio—Displays the count of wireless clients connected across radio bands over time.

Wired Clients

For Wired clients, the connectivity performance displays the following:

  • Throughout—By default, the upstream and downstream data throughput line chart is displayed for the client.

  • Error Frames—Displays the ratio of retries-to-total of transmitted wired frames of the client over time. You can hover over the chart to view the drops, retries, and errors.

    Note:

    Error and Drops are not displayed for gateway clients.

  • Speed/Duplex—Displays the speed for the transmitted and received frames of the connected client.

    Note:

    Speed/Duplex is not available for AOS-CX switches and gateways.

This view displays data only for past 3 hours. When you hover over the chart, you can view the Transmitted and Received data on the Throughput graph and the Errors and Drops on the Frames graph within the set timelines.
