Deleting Devices in the List View
To delete devices from the UDL, navigate to the list view for a site and complete any of the following procedures:
The delete operation is only applicable for offline devices in the site.

Deleting a Single Device from the UDL
To delete a device from the device row in the UDL, complete the following steps:

Hover over the row of the device to be deleted and click the ellipsis
icon near the end of the row. -
Click Delete.
The Delete pop-up is displayed.

Verify the device details and click Delete.
To delete a device using the delete
icon, or using the device side panel, complete the following steps:

Select the row of the device to be deleted.
The delete
icon is displayed next to the table menu
icon, and the device side panel are displayed. -
Complete any of the following steps:

Click the delete
icon next to the table menu
icon. -
Click the ellipsis
icon in the device side panel and click Delete.
The Delete pop-up is displayed.

Verify the device details and click Delete.
The device is deleted and the operation is logged in the Audit Trail page. For more information, see Viewing the Audit Trail Page.
Deleting Multiple Devices from the UDL
To delete multiple devices from the UDL, complete the following steps:

Select the rows of the devices to be deleted in bulk.
The delete
icon is displayed next to the table menu
icon. -
Click the delete
icon.Note:The delete function will work for offline devices only, even if the rows of online devices are selected.
The Delete pop-up is displayed.

Verify the delete confirmation message and click Delete.
The devices are deleted and the operation is logged in the Audit Trail page. For more information, see Viewing the Audit Trail Page.
Deleting a device in HPE Aruba Networking Central or HPE GreenLake does not automatically delete the device in Classic Central. To maintain consistency between the Unified Device List (UDL) in HPE Aruba Networking Central and the device list in Classic Central, you must manually delete, unassign, or reassign the device in Classic Central.
