Filtering Devices in the List View

You can filter devices depending on your criteria. You can either use keywords (device name, model, or any other device information) in the search bar to find your devices, or use the quick filters to filter devices as per status (Online and Offline), type (Access Points, Gateways, Switches, and Bridges) , or any combination of the options.

Note:

  • Search is not supported for the Notes column in the Devices list page.

  • If you search for the MAC address or Serial Number of a member of a device stack, the details of the stack (conductor and members) are displayed.

The following table describes the quick filters.

Status filter tabs

Online

Select this tab to view only the online devices at a site in the List view.

Offline

Select this tab to view only the offline devices at a site in the List view.

Type filter tabs

Access Points

Select this tab to view the APs at a site in the List view.

Gateways

Select this tab to view the gateways and edge connect devices at a site in the List view.

Switches

Select this tab to view the switches at a site in the List view.
Bridges

Select this tab to view the bridges at a site in the List view.

Additionally, to search for site-level devices using advanced filters access the Filters pop-up window by clicking the filter icon, selecting the filter criteria with respect to Health, Model, Last Seen, Topology, Location, Cluster Name, Configuration Status, and Device Function and then clicking Apply.

Note:

The advanced filter on the Devices page supports a maximum of 50 Site and Device Group entries. If the total number of entries exceeds this limit, the complete list is not displayed and cannot be fully filtered.
