Events

The Events card displays aggregated data for all the events that occurred across all sites within a tenant. The event count displayed for a site includes events from multiple device types, such as gateways, switches, access points, and clients. The events card helps monitor events of all the sites in a tenant. For more information, see Events Card.

APIs

The following feature is added to the API Gateway module.

  • On navigating to the API Gateway dashboard page, Webhooks option is available in the side navigation panel. Webhooks allow you to implement event reactions by providing real-time information or notifications to other applications. For more information, see Webhooks.

  • To view the list of new, modified, deprecated, and removed APIs, see the API topic.

Insights

The following feature is added to the Insights module:

  • Application Experience Predictor Insight—This insight is an AI-driven network analytics feature that proactively predicts the user experience of collaboration apps (for example, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom), identifies network issues causing poor performance, and provides guidance to remediate them.. For more information, see Application Experience Predictor.

Configuration

Switch Configuration

The following new profiles are added for AOS-CX switch configuration:

  • Mulicast Global—The Multicast Global profile enables centralized configuration of multicast behavior across fabrics through the UI. For more information, see Multicast Global Profile.

  • Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP)—Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP) is a mechanism that connects multiple Protocol Independent Multicast sparse mode (Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP)-SM) domains. For more information, see MSDP Profile.

Gateway Configuration

The following new profile is added for gateway configuration:

  • Certificate Usage Profile

For more information, see Certificate Usage Profile.

Client Roaming

You can now view client roaming events directly in the Floorplan Manager, along with other client details. Roaming events show a client’s network transitions between access points, indicating changes in connectivity—not physical movement. For more information, see Client Details.

Central Network Access Control (NAC)

Custom SMS and Email

Central NAC enables administrators to create customized SMS or Email messages for a portal profile for Cloud Guest accounts. Administrators can configure one default SMS password notice and one default Email password notice for account creation or password reset. The first SMS and Email password notice messages are automatically set as default. Administrators can later update or replace these defaults. For more information, see Custom SMS/Email Messages.

Wi-Fi Easy Connect for Central NAC

Wi-Fi easy connect devices provide continuous network and application performance monitoring, helping businesses troubleshoot issues proactively and deliver a seamless digital experience. These devices require secure onboarding, which is enabled by Device Provisioning Protocol (DPP), for large-scale deployments. For more information, see Configuring Wi-Fi Easy Connect.

JAMF Pro MDM Support

Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) providers like JAMF and Intune can automatically configure devices for users. By using this capability, we can deliver EAP certificates through the Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP), removing the need for users to visit an onboarding portal or install the Aruba Onboard app. Their MDM/UEM system will handle network profile setup seamlessly, without any user intervention. For more information, see JAMF Pro.
