This section highlights new features and functionalities introduced in this release.
Alerts and Events
The following features are added to the alerts module:

Client Onboarding—The dashboard provides a summary of client connectivity performance and onboarding metrics over a selected time period (for example, 3 Hours, 1 Day, 7 Days, and 30 days). It helps identify where clients fail or experience delays during different connection stages. For more information, see Client Onboarding.

Alerts Troubleshooting page—In the alert context, now you can view the Troubleshooting page for each alert. For more information, see Alerts Health Metrics.

Site and Device Scope for Alerts—You can now configure the alerts to monitor devices and metrics for a specific site or device. For more information, see Alert Management.

Third-Party Switch Alerts
HPE Aruba Networking Central now supports the Temperature Fault alert for third-party switches. This alert is generated when the switch temperature exceeds the threshold.

Insights
The following feature is added to the Insights module:

Enable Wi-Fi 6 to Improve WLAN Performance Insight—The insight now displays the Feature Contribution tile. The tile displays a comparative analysis of how various network parameters contribute to the overall performance benefits of enabling Wi-Fi 6 on a particular WLAN compared to its peer networks. For more information, see Enable Wi-Fi 6 to Improve WLAN Performance.
Configuration
Access Point Configuration
The following new profile is added for Access Point configuration:
Passpoint—Passpoint is a Wi-Fi certified solution that enables the mobile devices to automatically authenticate on enterprise Wi-Fi networks using their cellular credentials. Passpoint automates the authentication process, enabling more seamless connectivity between the Wi-Fi networks and mobile devices, all while delivering enterprise-level security.

Switch Configuration
The following new profiles are added for AOS-CX switch configuration:

VXLAN Tunnel—Virtual eXtensible LAN (VXLAN) is a MAC‑in‑UDP technology that provides Layer 2 connectivity across an IP network. VXLAN is typically used to extend Layer 2 segments throughout a data center or between remote data centers. For more information, see VXLAN Tunnel Profile.

VNI—A Virtual Network Identifier (VNI) defines a VXLAN segment, which acts as a logical Layer 2 or Layer 3 network within the VXLAN overlay. A VNI can be associated with either a VLAN or a VRF. For more information, see VNI Profile.

PIM—A PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast) profile is used to define multicast routing parameters on network devices. The PIM profile specifies settings such as the PIM mode (Sparse, Dense, or Sparse-Dense), designated router priorities, and other multicast-related configurations. By applying a PIM profile to interfaces or routing instances, administrators can efficiently manage multicast traffic flow within their network. For more information, see PIM Profile.
You can also configure PIM and PIM6 parameters from the Switch Interface Configuration and VLAN profiles.For more information, see Switch Interface Configuration Profile and VLAN Profile.
Networking Copilot
HPE Networking Copilot is an AI-powered assistant that enhances network visibility, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency. It allows users to perform natural language queries across access points, clients, and alerts, while dynamically adapting to the user’s context, whether at a global or site level. Networking Copilot integrates with HPE Aruba Networking Central documentation, supports historical chat tracking, and provides hyperlink-enabled tables, roaming insights, and automated alerts for connectivity and application performance issues. Advanced features include complex query generation, natural language to CLI translation, and dynamic alert parsing.

Reports
The following features are added to Reports:

The Top Switches by PoE Details KPI is introduced for Capacity Planning reports.

The Advanced Time Slicing option is now available for Top WLANs Throughput Trend, Top Wired Throughput Trend, and Top Wired Uplink Throughput Trend KPIs.For more information, see Creating a Report.
The Include SSID filter is available for Top WLANs Throughput Trend, Top WLANs by Usage, Top WLANs by Average Clients, and Top Clients by WLAN Usage KPIs. A maximum of 10 SSIDs can be selected. For more information, see Creating a Custom Report.
Health Metrics
The new Health Metrics page displays real-time health metrics, alerts, and performance graphs for access points, switches, gateways, and clients, organized into intuitive tabs tailored to each device type. Users can customize time ranges, filter events, and drill down into specific interfaces or components to pinpoint problems quickly. With interactive graphs and detailed logs, the Health Metrics allows proactive monitoring and faster issue resolution. For more information, see Health Metrics.
Managed Service Provider (MSP)
The API and Subscription Keys cards are added for the MSP setup.

API Gateway card—Displays statistical data for the Classic Central REST APIs. To view the list of available REST APIs, access the Developer Hub from the API Gateway landing page.

Subscription Keys—Displays information about the distribution and status of subscription keys, including license distribution for each device type assigned to tenants. For more information, see Subscription Keys
Topology
The Sunburst topology has been disabled to prepare the infrastructure for Global and Site Collection views. The default topology view of HPE Aruba Networking Central is now Link Node View which is able to more accurately represent how network operators understand network diagrams. The Sunburst view and the Chord view are no longer supported in HPE Aruba Networking Central topology. For more information, see Topology Link Node View.
Health Metrics for Clients
The Health Metrics for clients page displays the health trend chart along with the health categories, KPI metrics, alerts and events information for a specific client, based on the selected time range. For more information, see Viewing Health Metrics for Clients.
Improvements
This section highlights enhancements made to existing features and workflows.
Enhancement to AI Search
The AI Search feature now supports search queries with partial site names, instead of information-specific search queries. For more information, see Search Queries.
Enhancements to Alerts

Enhancements to Application Visibility
These enhancements introduce improved application visibility at both site and client levels. Users can now access granular health charts updated every 15 minutes, categorizing latency as Good, Fair, Poor, or Unknown. Enhanced UXI integration allows visibility into user experience metrics when UXI devices are present. Client-level diagnostics now include detailed performance charts such as latency, throughput, and radio stats. These updates streamline troubleshooting and provide deeper insights into application performance across environments.

Enhancements to Asset Tracking
The Asset Tracking feature now supports new permissions and permission slugs for applications that implement RBAC checks.

Enhancements to Central NAC
The following enhancements are added to Central NAC:

The following additional operators are supported for the MAC Address, Client CN, and CA CN attributes in Central NAC. For more information, see Attributes and Operators.

Administrators can now view the license status notice of the Central NAC subscription. Different notifications about the license expiration are displayed in the Central NAC configuration page. For more information, see Licensing.

When users modify an existing identity store such as a MAC Address or an MPSK or DPP, the Edit Identity Store panel opens in full-screen mode. For more information, see Editing an Identity Store.

The Central NAC UI displays a warning or error banner when a custom certificate is about to expire or already expired. For more information, see Bring Your Own Certificates (BYOC).

The Authentication Profiles UI is updated with a View Portal link. The View Portal link enables the administrator to view and access the web portal from the Authentication Profiles page. This option is available only for the MPSK, EAP-TLS, and Captive Portal profiles. For more information, see Configuring MPSK, Configuring EAP-TLS Profile, and Configuring Captive Portal Profile.
Enhancements to Configuration Health
Configuration Health in HPE Aruba Networking Central now supports the Synced with Limitations configuration synchronization state, as well as the Validation Blocker and Validation Blocker error categories.

Enhancements to DHCP Pool Configuration Workflow
HPE Aruba Networking Central now allows users to add DDNS Profiles from the DHCP Pool Configuration workflow. For more information, see DHCP Pool.
Enhancement to Device Certificate Management
HPE Aruba Networking Central now allows users to view all profiles that have references to the selected device certificate within the Certificate Management application. For more information, see Viewing Reference for Device Certificates.
Enhancement to Firmware Management
The following enhancements are added to Firmware Management:

AOS-S Persona is added in Firmware Management application. For more information, see Firmware Management, Creating a Firmware Policy, and Editing a Firmware Policy

The upgrade mode type is changed from Regular to Standard in Firmware Management application. For more information, see Firmware Management, Creating a Firmware Policy, and Editing a Firmware Policy
Enhancement to Floorplan Manager
Along with site migration, HPE Aruba Networking Central now supports, account level migration. This enhancement enables bulk migration of all sites associated with a user account, streamlining deployment workflows. The migration process includes transferring floorplans, device placements, structural elements (walls and regions), and planned access point configurations across multiple floors and sites.

Enhancements to LAG Configuration
HPE Aruba Networking Central now supports the configuration and mapping of Link Aggregation Groups (LAG) with Port and Switch Interface Configuration profiles.

Enhancements to Managed Service Provider (MSP)
The Reports card now allows you to create Licenses reports for the subscription and license managed by MSP. For more information, see Reports.
Enhancements to Scope Management
The following enhancements are implemented in the Scope Management module:

Creating or Editing Site Collections—You can now add or remove sites while creating or editing a site collection. For more information, see Adding Sites to a New Site Collection.

Adding Sites in Site Collection Context—You can now add sites to a site collection using the Add Site button. For more information, see Adding a Site to an Existing Site Collection.
Enhancements to Sessions Dashboard
Following are the enhancements to the Sessions dashboard in a site context:

By default, the Sessions dashboard is displayed in List view.
-
The Sessions dashboard in List view supports Time Range drop-down that allows you to view and analyze historical data of blocked sessions only for periods of 3 hours, 1 day, and 7 days.
-
In the Filters pop-up window, the Session Capture Time filter includes the time slider that allows you to filter session from the selected time period.
-
You can export the Sessions table data in .csv format.
-
The Firewall Sessions tab in the Troubleshooter page supports on-demand session troubleshooting.

Enhancements to Switch Configuration
The following enhancements are implemented in the Switch Configuration module:

You can now enable Port Security at both the global and interface levels using the Switch System and Switch Interface Configuration profiles. Additionally, you can configure Port Security parameters at the interface level.

You can now enable ICMP redirect by using the Enable ICMP Redirect in the Switch System profile.
-
You can now configure the Server Address Alias and Shared Secret Alias parameters from the Authentication Server profile.

Enhancement to Troubleshooting
The Test Options enables you to select up to 10 devices from the Device down-down menu. This way, you can choose to run tests on multiple devices simultaneously. For more information, see Troubleshooting Tools.
Enhancement to Topology Link Node View
The default side panel in the Link Node View topology now shows the count and details of isolated devices within the network site. Isolated devices are devices that belong to the site but are not connected to any other device in the network.
The Link Node View now includes enhanced filtering capabilities through the Layers panel, allowing you to customize the topology display based on Device Information and Link Information.
Additionally, the link side panel has been updated to show detailed information about the destination device, alongside the source device details. You can now also view the supported ports and interface details associated with source and destination devices. For more information, see Topology Link Node View and Link Node Navigation.
Enhancements to Unified Clients List
The time travel widget is no longer supported in the Unified Clients List. For more information, see Viewing Clients in List View and Viewing Client Dashboard.
Enhancements to Unified Device List
HPE Aruba Networking Central now allows users to add and delete notes using North Bound APIs. For more information, see APIs.
