Charts on the Loss Trends tab show tunnel packet loss as a percentage over time, before and after Forward Error Correction (FEC). By default, the charts show average packet loss recorded within graphed intervals.

To display the highest (peak) packet loss events that occurred during each interval, before and after FEC, click Peaks. This helps to quickly identify and investigate network performance issues that might be hidden by average statistics. Use peak loss data to spot significant spikes that could indicate transient network issues, congestion, or outages. In real-time mode, peaks are always shown.

NOTE: Underlay tunnels are a shared resource among overlays. Therefore, underlay charts display aggregated data.
