Create, Change, or Reset Password
Orchestrator > Orchestrator Server > Users & Authentication > Change Password
The Change Password menu is only applicable if you are logged in as a local user. If so, use the Create Password dialog box to create or change your password.
NOTE: If you are logged in through an identify provider via OAuth or SAML, the change password feature is not applicable.
To reset your password, see Reset Password. Both local and OaaS users can reset their passwords.
Create or Change Password
To create or change your password:

In the New Password field, enter your new password.
The password must adhere to the following requirements:

Must be 8 to 64 characters. The default minimum length is 8. Your administrator might have changed the minimum password length requirement.

At least one uppercase letter

At least one lowercase letter

At least one digit
-
At least one special character
If your Orchestrator administrator has enabled password criteria for all users, your password must comply with the following additional requirements:

Your password cannot be repeated. Your password cannot match your previous history of passwords. (The default history setting is 8 previous passwords.)

Your password cannot contain your username.

Your password cannot use well known common phrases.

In the Confirm New Password field, enter the password again.

Click Save Password.
Orchestrator logs you out. Log in again with your new password.
Reset Password
To reset your password:

If you are logged in to Orchestrator, log out.

Click Reset Password / QR Code on the login screen.
The Reset Password / QR Code dialog box opens.

Enter the username or email address associated with the account.

Click Request Password / QR Code Reset.
An email is sent to the associated account with instructions on how to reset your password.

Click Close.

Follow the steps in the email to reset your password.

Log in to Orchestrator with your new password.
